Girls' Camps Is DIRTY!!

OK, I just got back from Girl's camp. It was so fun!! I could tell the spirit was really strong there. I received a Fire Goddess award for being an example. I made new friends and couldn't believe how a hike uphill could be so tiring!! There was no warm water or electricity and that was soo not OK!! ANYWAY, I am soo glad to be back home with WARM water!!

Delicious Discovery

Guess who found gum?? Andy!! We had to FORCE the gum out of his mouth and he just SPIT all over me!! Apparently he really liked it 'cause he gave a pretty good fight to keep strawberry flavored gum in his mouth. Oh well, maybe Jared will be more careful with gum later on.

Annoying!!

Man!! You'd think the pain would go away by now but noooo it has to stop you from eating!!! Ugh!! My jaw is still sore and I'm bruised everywhere and people keep staring and asking if I'm okay!! Of course I'm not okay but I guess I am if they are considering pain-wise. Oh well!

AAAHHHH S T I T C H E S !!! The true story.

Stitches are what seem the most painful (or so they seem) things on earth. Therefore, I am apparently here to tell you other wise. Today I was taking a walk with the Stewart family and my family. I rode down a hill with 'Heelys' on and i thought it was GREAT fun... until i saw the bump. I tried to slow down and stop but I was going to fast!! I stopped and flew forward landing on my chin, sliding to a halt. I was crying because it hurt, and I had no idea what would happen in a few minutes... seconds more like. I got up, all scraped up, and something dropped on my knee, blood. I stared at it for a second and then realized I was gushing blood!! It was the most painful thing I had ever experienced, almost pure agony! I was crying, panicking, and realizing my chin was (or so it seemed) on fire. I had split open my chin. Since we were close to the BYU museum of Art, we all ran inside. The people heard my sobs and looked, some whispered-their expressions worried. The security guard saw us and got some paper towels and gauze, which, conveniently, were right there at the time. An orthodontist came over to check on me and shared a story similar to mine (except his happened in his bathroom, he had passed out and he lost teeth). The campus police came and made sure I was OK and then recommended some nearby clinics (he only knew of two: campus clinic and redwood clinic.) and then he said the BYU clinic would not help us. Jeez, he could've just said the redwood clinic and it would've saved a lot of time and embarrassment (people were staring and talking quietly)!!! Anyway, Missy, Jen's sister (I think) came and drove us to the clinic. I would have to get stitches. I sobbed the hardest I ever have when I heard the news. When we got there, the nurse, who was very nice by the way, showed us to a private room. When the doctor FINALLY came in, I had begun to cry a bit and shiver. He numbed it and then made sure I was numb, then had my relax and close my eyes. It really wasn't that bad 'cause I was numbed but the Doctor was really nice and I'll have to go to girl's camp like this. In the car 4 year old Chloe kept asking me if I was OK non-stop and everyone asked if it hurt and if I was OK. I'm still bandaged up and slightly numb, OK and I have a sore jaw, but other than that, I am fine. Well, not so much. The Stewart's got me a cookie but I couldn't eat it!! I'm soo mad! After all this pain you would think I could eat a cookie but noo apparently I'll have trouble eating for a few days!!!

YAY...nooo!!

GUESS WHAT???!!! I got GREAT scores on my end-of-year tests...except one. Technically, it wasn't a test, it was an assignment that I didn't turn in. Apparently, that assignment was worth a lot of points! If I had known, I WOULD HAVE TURNED IT IN!!!!
